1.System Summarize

 

The “Liquid height and temperature measuring system in ZIGBEE communicate mode”, which include “Liquid height measuring terminal equipment in ZIGBEE communicate mode”, “Server Management Software”,” GX-iCN-01A Communications Coordinator” and “Configuration Line”. It is used for timing measure liquid height value, temperature value and show these value in the “Server Management Software”.

The “Terminal” is used for timing measure liquid height value and temperature value, and transmit these measuring value to the “Software” in ZIGBEE communicate mode, the user can use “Software” to see the liquid height value and manage these “Terminal”. The user can set the density of the liquid on the server management software, according to the density value set by the use, the data can be automatically converted into the liquid pressure and liquid level value is displayed.

 

GX-iCN-01A communications coordinator is connected to the RS232 serial communication interface of the server computer, with 12VDC power adapter for receiving ZIGBEE wireless temperature and pressure measuring terminal transmitted monitoring information.

 

Server management software "LLMServer" is developed by our company, ZIGBEE terminal control management software, which features are comprehensive, ZIGBEE terminal device can perform basic control and management.

 

The configuration cable to connect the RS232 serial communication interface of PC and the ZIGBEE wireless temperature and pressure measuring terminal, only on ZIGBEE wireless temperature and pressure measurements when using terminal base configuration before use.

for example, use number one battery “ER34615”, its capacity is 19AH, the “System” work frequency is work once per hour: The GXPS609 terminal can work about 1800 days.

recommend use number one battery “ER34615”. If user want select battery by self, please according to the battery standard as following. battery voltage: 3.0VDC~3.6VDC; max continue output current: more than 0.3A; pulse output current capacity: more than 0.5A.

 

Power supply use illuminate

the “Terminal” can use battery or external power supply. See the terminal structure drawing, the position of external power supply in the “External Electrical Interface”, in the interface, “1” is anode, “2” is cathode.

 

 

4. ZIGBEE Wireless Temperature Monitoring System Level Description

 

4.1 Description of system workflow:

 

⑴ running the server management software on the server computer, connect the RS232 serial communication interface and GX-iCN-01A communications coordinator of the server computer.

⑵ turn on the power of the terminal, and the terminal device to work.

⑶ the terminal device will do the time-collating automatically with the server management software, each time when turn on the power.

Time-collating: server management software will send date and time information of server computer to the terminal device, the terminal device will save the date and time information, and the basis of this information, in the future operation of the automatic update time.

⑷ proofreading time to complete, the terminal device sends the current time monitoring information to the server management software. Monitoring information comprising: a terminal device address, level pressure value, temperature value, terminal timing work interval, the terminal operating mode, battery level, date and time information at the moment, these latest monitoring information is displayed in the spreadsheet software main interface, historical monitoring information is automatically stored in the database, users can view at any time.

⑸ follows "System Description Use" as described in "Setting Mode" for setting the basic terminal, after setting so that the terminal into the "working mode" operation, the terminal will be uploaded regularly monitoring information. If you need to make changes to the basic settings of the terminal, first follows the "System Description With" Making Terminal Exit "work mode", go to "Settings Mode", and then to make the basic settings of the terminal again.

 

4.2 System Description:

 

(1)The server management software installed and running in the server computer, connect the GX-iCN-01A communications coordinator, double-click the software icon "LLMServer" open server management software. As shown in Figure 6.

"ZIGBEE wireless serial communication level settings": Fill in connection GX-iCN-01A communications coordinator serial number, baud rate of 38400.

"Server configuration": the default connection ACCESS database, if you need to connect to SQL Server database, configure this.

"Communication failure time set": end "connection timeout" time setting unit: min. "Alarm Settings": When you turn on this feature, users can "Terminal settings" screen to set the desired level monitoring alarm upper and lower limit; when the liquid level monitored value exceeds the alarm limit range, will be the main interface of the alarm information in the corresponding message, the alarm information will be automatically stored in the database for the user. Click the "OK" button to save.

"System Language Selection": language selection, the default is Chinese. Click the "OK" button to save.

After setting the interface, click "Exit" button to save, and then have to shut down and restart the server management software, in order to set up information on these new changes properly loaded.

“Terminal ID”: select “Terminal” address you want inquire, or select “All” to inquiry all the “Terminal”.

“Query time”: select the time section you want inquire.

“Inquiry” button: Inquire command button.

“Export” button: as “EXCEL format” export all the data of inquire.

“Delete” button: delete all the data you inquired.

"Export" button: to query the alarm information to "EXCEL spreadsheet" format for export and save.

⑶ open the terminal power back cover.

(4) After the initial use of the new terminal, server management software receive the information of the new terminal, the user needs to use the server management software, the new terminal basic settings to make it work properly in accordance with the basic settings. Double-click a row in the table displays the basic settings required for the new terminal monitoring information, interface appears as shown in Figure 11, the interface for the new terminal equipment of the line shows the basic settings.

(5) Interface form part of the basic information display terminals in the database, click the "Delete" button to permanently delete the terminal information from the database; the lower part of the interface used for the basic settings for each terminal:

● "working parameters":

After the new terminal, the user can name new terminal and set the liquid density for the new terminal monitoring; level alarm limit values; then you must click on the right side of the "New Terminal" button to add a new terminal into the database the new terminal's information will be displayed after the addition was complete the table top of the screen in the future without having to add the new terminal again.

● Click the "Extended parameters" tab will switch to the interface shown in Figure 12.

"The new terminal ID": Set the device ID of the terminal. After the setup is complete, please restart the power terminal device.

"Sampling interval": Set the time to upload monitoring information terminal timing interval set by the user is greater than the recommended time for at least 3 minutes.

⑺After completion of the above settings, click on the "work mode" button to end running "mode" button. In the "work mode", the terminal will automatically send regularly monitoring information in accordance with the sampling time interval set by the user.

⑻ If you need to modify the terminal's basic settings, click "enter the setup mode" button, causing the terminal to enter the "setup mode" and then to re-make the basic settings of the terminal.

5. LCD display and key operating instructions

 

5.1 LCD display: In the absence of key operation, the current measured value of fluid pressure will showed on the LCD.

5.2 Key operation: There are three round buttons on a wireless level measurement terminal, from left to right are: "(+)", "(-)", "(SET)". Only terminal operations in "Setting Mode", and at the moment it can not be operated using the keys to monitor messages.

Menu function is divided into two: "AS", set the "terminal device ID";

"SL", set the "Terminal sampling interval."

When the user key operation, is divided into "press" and "press":

"(SET)" button: divided into "press" and "press";

"(+)" Button: Only the "short press";

"(-)" Button: divided into "press" and "press";

Key steps:

⑴ Press "SET" button, LCD display "AS", into menu selection interface.

⑵ Press "+" key, the menu item to switch between the two.

⑸ under the "SL" menu, press "SET" button, enter "Terminal sampling interval" setting function, the time interval range of "0 to 60000" seconds, press the (+) key interval adds "1" s, press ( -) key to switch control LCD display position, press (SET) key to save; if we give up the sampling interval is set to return to the previous menu, press (-) .

 

6.Maintenance instructions

 

⑴ wireless temperature and pressure measurements in front of the terminal, make sure the battery has power; communications coordinator with the computer serial communication interface is well connected; If the battery voltage display on the server management software, please open the terminal cover to replace the battery, so as not to affect system performance.

⑵ If the wireless temperature and pressure measurements communication disruption or other communication failure occurs between the terminal and server management software, please check the server computer serial connection is normal, the operation of the server management software is normal, if the battery terminals have electricity.

⑶ Avoid ZIGBEE antenna near metal objects or ferromagnetic objects.
