Product Description

 

1. Products Introduction
KCF series Capacitive  digital oil level sensor is made of stainless steel. It applies the principle of the liquid flotage and magnetic induction to measure the liquid level. The product has good anti-corrosion performance, high measuring precision and preventing oil leakage when turned over. These made the sensor be widely used in light truck, bus, boat, and engineering mechanism fields. Graceful design and excellentquality attract the world famous vehicle OEM.
The KCF series sensor is a cost effective fuel level sensor designed for smaller trucks. The sensor is designed according to the actual tank shape for exact measurements of the tank content. Measurements are done by series of reed switches positioned inside the level tube. A float. with built- in magnets then triggers the reed relays. generating a potential - free resistance with a ohm value that increases or decreases according to the respective fluid level. Resistance output is fully customizable. The float is the only moving part of the sensor. thereby minimize potential mechanical failures. All sensors are fully insulated to protect against voltage inside the tank.

3. Installation method
The wiring method is as follows:
RS232: The sensor output in this way has 4 wires
Red 24V+
Black 24V-(RS232)
Blue RS232 (RXD) computer sender
Yellow RS232 (TXD) computer receiver
4 to 20 mA: The sensor output in this mode has 2 wires
Red 24V+
Black 24V-
0 to 5V: The sensor output in this mode has 3 wires.
Red 24V+
Black 24V-
Blue 0~5V voltage output
 
note:
There can only be one type of RS232/ 0-5V/4~20mA signal, and one of them can be used arbitrarily.
The sensor uses microcomputer technology and can be directly used for measurement of various weakly corrosive liquids without calibration.
 
Installation of the sensor:
1 If it is an old car, the original sensor needs to be removed. The new car is installed directly;
2 Please check the accessories before installation: flange, rubber pad, O-ring, whether the screws are complete and consistent;
3 Place the O-ring on the root of the sensor;
4 Apply oil-resistant sealant to both sides of the rubber pad, and then fix the hole position with the flange and the fuel tank flange, and fix it with screws. When tightening, symmetrical rotation should be applied to ensure uniform force in all directions and avoid oil leakage. ;
5 Insert the sensor into the wrench to complete the sensor installation.
6 Connect the power cable and communication cable separately according to the definition;
7 Check that the line is normal, you can turn on the sensor power, and the sensor can work normally.
