The type of conductivity sensor
According to the different measuring principles and methods, the conductivity sensor can be divided into electrode type conductivity sensor, inductance type conductivity sensor, and ultrasonic conductivity sensor.
According to the principle of electrolysis, the electrical conductivity of the electrode type conductivity sensor is measured by the resistance measurement method. The electrode for measuring the electrical conductivity is a complex electrochemical system.
The inductance type conductivity sensor can measure the conductivity of liquid according to the principle of electromagnetic induction.
Ultrasonic conductivity sensors measure the conductivity of the ultrasonic wave as it changes in the liquid. The former two sensors are the most widely used.

Two conductance cell type electrode conductivity sensor is composed of a pair of electrodes, places, a constant voltage on the electrode conductivity pool of liquid resistance changes lead to changes in current measuring electrode, and in accordance with ohm's law, conductivity instead of resistivity, with the resistance in the conductance instead of metal, expressing it in electrical conductivity and the conductance of the liquid conductive ability, so as to realize the liquid conductivity measurement.

The traditional electrode type conductivity sensor electrode is composed of a pair of flat electrodes, and the electrode constant is determined by the opposite area and distance of the electrode.The electrode structure is simple, the craft is simple, but the electrode power line was the edge effect and the electrode area and the distance between electrodes is difficult to determine, electrode constant cannot be calculated through the size measurement, need through the standard calibration, one of the most commonly used standard solution is 0.010 0 mol/L potassium chloride standard solution.Based on the principle of conductance cell, the flat electrode is improved, and the cylindrical electrode, point electrode, line electrode and compound electrode are developed.
