1. Description
Every year, a large amount of untreated sewage is discharged into lakes and rivers. In the face of increasingly severe water environment situation, as well as the improvement of people's life quality requirements, people's requirements for water quality are also improved accordingly.
Turbidity is caused by suspended particles in the water, which diffusely reflect incoming light, usually using scattered light in the direction of 90 degrees as a test signal. The scattered light and turbidity conform to multi-stage linear relationship, so the sensor needs multi-point calibration. Moreover, the intensity of light source and temperature change will affect the accuracy of measurement results. After many experimental studies and theoretical calculations, it is found that the ratio of scattered light to transmitted light has a linear relationship with turbidity. The sensor uses the ratio of scattered light and transmitted light instead of the simple scattered light to measure turbidity, sensor accuracy, reliability, more simple maintenance, enhanced pollution resistance.
