Background
Due to the unique geographical environment of offshore cage aquaculture, traditional monitoring methods are insufficient. To address this issue, Granfoo Industrial Co., Ltd. has designed an intelligent IoT monitoring system based on wireless local area network (WLAN) technology, aiming to achieve real-time monitoring, data collection, and remote control.
System Architecture
- Front-end Data Collection System: Includes water quality sensors, underwater cameras, and other devices responsible for collecting water quality data and video images from the cages.
- Wireless Transmission System: Utilizes wireless bridge technology to transmit data from the front-end to the monitoring center.
- Monitoring Center: Comprises data servers, storage devices, workstations, and display systems, responsible for data processing, storage, and visualization.

- Real-time Monitoring: 24/7 continuous collection and recording of parameters such as dissolved oxygen, flow rate, and temperature.
- Alarm Function: Automatically triggers alarms when abnormal data is detected, supporting multiple alarm methods.
- Remote Control: Allows remote control of devices via mobile phones or computers, enabling remote switching and timing settings.
- Data Statistics: Provides data statistics and export functions for user analysis.

Onsite measurement and control functions
The measurement and control terminal has the function of on-site measurement and control. Through the touch panel configured on the on-site equipment, it can conveniently realize on-site measurement and control of the equipment. The figure below shows the on-site measurement and control touch screen.
