Product Description

The COD sensor is Kacise's new generation of environmentally friendly COD/TOC sensors. It requires no reagents, produces no pollution, offers greater economy, and is more environmentally friendly. With small water volume requirements and easy installation, it enables online water quality monitoring.

Principle

Many organic substances dissolved in water absorb ultraviolet light. By measuring the absorption of these organic substances at 254 nm wavelength, the total amount of organic pollutants in water can be determined. The Kacise COD series sensor uses dual light sources (254nm UV and 850nm infrared) to automatically compensate for optical path attenuation and turbidity effects, ensuring stable and reliable measurements.
