KQS-GTM Tubular Multi-layer Soil Moisture Monitoring Instrument
Product Introduction

The KQS-GTM tubular multi-layer soil moisture monitoring instrument utilizes Frequency Domain Reflectometry (FDR) technology, compliant with GB/T 28418-2012 standards. This advanced system detects frequency changes of electromagnetic waves as they propagate through materials with varying dielectric constants to accurately determine soil moisture content at multiple depths.

Equipped with high-precision digital temperature sensors, the instrument measures soil temperature at each monitoring layer. The standard configuration simultaneously monitors soil temperature and moisture at depths of 10 cm, 20 cm, 30 cm, and 40 cm, with custom depth configurations available to meet specific user requirements.

The system features RS485 signal output and offers optional integration with a built-in 4G wireless communication module and lithium battery. Data transmission via GPRS to IoT platforms enables real-time monitoring and access through computers and mobile devices.

Designed for ease of use, the instrument is lightweight, simple to install and operate, while maintaining high measurement accuracy. The integrated system combines soil moisture sensors, soil temperature sensors, solar power supply, and data transmission units with intelligent control chips.

Applications include agriculture, forestry, environmental protection, water conservancy, meteorology, irrigation management, horticulture, grassland and pasture monitoring, soil testing, plant cultivation, greenhouse control, and precision agriculture.
