5.Installation and Electrical Connection

5.1 Installs

Note: At least 2 cm away from the bottom and side walls of the container during installation and testing.

5.2 Electrical connection

The cable is a 4-core twisted pair shielded wire defined in line sequence:

Red wire -- power cord (12V-24VDC)

Black line (GND)

Blue Line -- 485a

White line -- 485b

Before electrification, the wiring sequence should be carefully checked to avoid unnecessary losses caused by wiring errors.

Wiring instructions: Consider the cable long-term immersion in water (including seawater) or exposed to air, all wiring is required to do waterproof treatment, customer cable should have a certain anti-corrosion ability.

 

6.Maintenance

6.1 Use and Maintenance

The regular electrode needs to be cleaned and calibrated periodically, and the maintenance cycle is decided by the customer according to his own working condition. Conventional electrode cleaning method: with a soft brush to remove the attachment (care to avoid scratching the electrode surface) , and then clean with distilled water, after the calibration operation.

Cleaning method of inductive electrode:

Inductive electrode is basically maintenance-free; the shell of pollution or mild scaling does not affect its normal work.

If cleaning, with a soft brush or sandpaper to remove the attachment, and then use distilled water cleaning, after the calibration operation.

Because inductance type electrode often works in easy to scale up or dirty environment, cleaning can be appropriate to increase the force. A minor scratch on the electrode surface does not affect the normal operation of the electrode, but to avoid penetrating the electrode shell.

6.2 Calibration

a) Zero Calibration

Rinse the sensor with distilled water and drain the liquid with filter paper. The sensor is connected to the power supply and placed vertically in the air for about 3 minutes. After the numerical value is stable, zero calibration is carried out. The calibration instructions are detailed in the appendix.

b) slope calibration

Place the electrode vertically in the standard solution (20% full range) and note that the slope of the electrode is calibrated at least 2 cm from the bottom and side walls of the container. The calibration instructions are detailed in the appendix.

7.Quality and Service

7.1 Quality Assurance

Quality inspection departments have standardized inspection procedures, with advanced and perfect testing equipment and means, and in strict accordance with the rules of inspection, 72-hour aging of products to do experiments, stability experiments, do not let a unqualified product factory.
