The KLD70 series microwave radar sensor module is designed for non-contact level measurement of liquids, pastes, granules, and block materials. It operates effectively in challenging conditions including significant temperature and pressure variations, inert gases, and volatile environments.

Microwave pulses emitted by the guided wave radar propagate along detection components (steel cable or steel rod). When these pulses encounter the measured media, the dielectric constant changes, causing reflections. A portion of the pulse energy is reflected back, and the time interval between transmitted and reflected pulses is proportional to the distance to the measured media.
