Introduction
The ultrasonic distance sensor transmits the ultrasonic pulse to the measured object, and then returns the echo formed by the measured object to the receiving sensor, so as to obtain the time difference between the transmitting and receiving, and then the distance between the transducer and the measured medium surface can be obtained according to the sound speed in the medium. So we can calculate the distance between the transducer and the reflector of the medium D=C*t/2, divided by 2 because the ultrasonic wave travels twice the distance between the transducer and the medium when it is transmitted and received. (D is distance, C is speed of sound, and t is time).
Ultrasonic distance sensor M30 adopts the principle of ultrasonic echo ranging and the accurate time difference measurement technology to detect the distance between the sensor and the target object. It has the advantages of accurate measurement, no contact, waterproof, anti-corrosion, low cost, small blind area and so on. It can be applied to the detection of liquid level and level.

Installation conditions
If the sensor is installed at the environment temperature fall below 0℃,It should do well on the protective measures. In case of direct mounting of the sensor in a through hole using the steel nuts, it has to be fixed at the middle of the housing thread.
