The capacitive liquid level sensor consists of two main components: the sensor probe and transmitter. The diagram shows:

• A: Sensor probe that measures directly in the medium
• B/C: Connection flanges for gas/liquid phase
• D: Measuring cylinder forming capacitance with sensor
• E: Drain flange for periodic cleaning
• F: Transmitter converting capacitance to standard signal
