The KSFG3X36-1 fiber optic gyro is a three-axis gyro with low precision, featuring a compact form factor, lightweight build, absence of moving parts, high reliability, and extended lifespan. Its digital output enables easy system integration for applications in aviation, aerospace, maritime, defense, coal mine measurements, automotive electronics, and diverse fields.

Based on optical principles, the fiber optic gyroscope serves as the foundation for inertial navigation instruments. By harnessing optical fiber characteristics to measure rotational angular speed, it facilitates accurate determination of directions such as heading, pitch, and roll. Rotation of the optical loop induces changes in the optical path, and by detecting the resulting phase difference or interference fringe changes, the rotation angular speed is measured.
