Operating Principle

The operation of the KS3ARGA1 series is founded on the resonator gyro principle . A pair of polysilicon sensitive structures sit at the core of these devices. Each structure hosts a high-frequency oscillating frame powered by electrostatic forces to achieve resonance. Together, these frames constitute the vital components for speed measurement. Positioned at the external extremities, a capacitive-sensitive structure becomes responsive to Coriolis movement when subjected to angular momentum. This interaction subsequently produces an electric signal. The signal is then relayed through an amplifying and modulating stage, culminating in the release of an electrical output that is directly proportional to the angular rate being measured.
