1. overview

SF6 gas is widely used as an insulating medium and arc extinguishing gas in power equipment, especially in high-voltage circuit breakers, transformers, transformers, capacitors, arresters, fuses, etc. Leakage occurs, equipment pressure decreases, insulation capacity is reduced; Pollute and destroy the atmospheric environment, increase the greenhouse effect; Accumulation in low-level spaces, resulting in accidents such as lack of oxygen in the brains of staff and even rapid asphyxiation; Under the influence of partial discharge, high temperature and other factors, SF6 gas will produce highly toxic decomposition substances such as SF4, SF2, SOF2, etc.

KSS572 is a gas sensor module using NDIR infrared absorption detection principle. The concentration is determined according to the absorption of SF6 gas at 10.5um. The single-light source and dual-channel structure of MEMS light source, dual-channel pyroelectric detector and optical gas chamber are used to realize the reference compensation of the spatial dual optical path. Microprocessors perform signal acquisition, processing, and output, with temperature compensation and nonlinearity correction.
